Game Matchup

It's a gift to have this good of a matchup this late into the season. Then again, we have two this year. The CB West Bucks face off against the Demons this week, followed by PZ's Prime Time next week, a tough schedule for anyone. However, this week, it seems he may have a win in the bag, especially if the Bengals don't do as well as the Demons expect. For some odd reason, the Demons have decided to start 6 Bengals players this weekend as they faceoff against the Browns. This could ultimately backfire, especially if the Bengals play conservatively. The West Bucks on the other hand have Brees vs Miami and Alexander vs San Francisco. If the West Bucks win, and PZs Prime Time loses, the team with the most points will take control of 2nd place. However, if the CB West Bucks win this week, as well as Prime Time, the Demons lead will be cut down to one game. Either way, a win this weekend will get the West Bucks in the playoffs. It will be the 3rd team to make the playoffs this year, that did not make it last year. This years first place Demons finished last year in last, PZ's Prime Time in 7th and the West Bucks in 6th. How big a turnaround in one season!

The key to winning for the West Bucks will be big games out of Brees and Alexander. JP Losman passed for 3 touchdowns against Miami last weekend, so I wouldn't expect Brees to have a bad day. Shaun Alexander is a wrecking machine, threatening to break the most touchdowns in one season record. Don't think the 49ers will stop him, no one else has. He can't just win with two players though, so look for big games out of Marvin Harrison against the Jaguars, Jeremy Shockey against a depleted Eagles team and the San Diego defense against Miami, this defense especially if Sage Rosenfels gets the start.

The key for the Demons to win is for the Bengals to play aggressive. If they play conservative, Demons lose. Tiki Barber against Philly could be the only thing to save this team if the Bengals have a bad day.
